Law School (Law Degree, 1968); Escuela Nacional de Administración Pública, Spain (Master Degree, 1970); Institut International d’Administration Publique, France (Master Degree, 1971); Paris University (Doctorate, 1975). Member of the Mexican Bar Association; International Arbitrator at the International Centre of dispute Resolutions (American Arbitration Association); member of the Mexican Arbitral Commission Section of the International Chamber of Commerce, member of the London Court of International Arbitrators. Consulting Commission on Private International Law of the Ministry of Foreign Relations; Former President of the Mexican Academy of International Private and Comparative Law; former President of the Texas-Mexico Bar Association 1998-1999; former Commissioner of the Mexican Antitrust Commission. Professor of Private International Law at U.N.A.M.; Lecturer on Arbitration at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. 11 books and 75 articles published.
